Tinchuley as the name signifies - Tin (Three) and Chuley (Oven). There are three prominent hill tops surrounding Tinchuley which looks like Tin Chullahs or oven. Hence the name. Tinchuley is in Darjeeling district of West Bengal in India and is facing Kalimpong town. It is only 5 Kms from Takdah.
WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature) is assisting few families in Tinchuley to develop the location as organic village in the Himalayas.
Tinchuley offers a majestic view of the Mt Kanchendjunga, the third highest mountain of the world. The calm and peaceful surrounding on Tinchuley with romantic mysticism of Pine and Oak trees make it a must for nature lovers.
