South Korea is a country in East Asia, located on the southern part of the Korean Peninsula. Since the mid-20^th century, Korea has been split between the North Korean and South Korean states, resulting in a number of cultural differences that can be observed even today. South Korea has a population of 51.96 million, of which roughly half live in the Seoul Capital Area, the fourth most populous metropolitan area in the world.

South Korea gained popularity in addition to its revolutionary music, South Korea has also come a long way in the film industry. Korean masterpieces such as Parasite, Okja, and Host have gained international recognition for their unwavering script and direction. South Korea is a dream destination mostly for the youngsters who are a huge fan of BTS which is an extremely popular group in Kpop.

Seoul, the capital city of South Korea is city of contrasts. Here, centuries-old Buddhist temples stand alongside the shimmering skyscrapers of global tech companies. Then there is Busan, which is the second biggest city and seaport in South Korea. It is recognized for its beaches, hot springs, natural reserves, and annual events including the city’s renowned international film festival.
