The most unique and wonderful sunset spot one can experience in Bali. This place is so secluded and only few tourists waiver around. You can google the location by searching Pigstone beach and follow your map to reach it. It would take about 1 hour on scooter from Ubud and about 45-50 minutes drive from Canggu or Denpasar area. If you want to see a perfect view then you will have to start little early, spoting amazing views all the way with beautiful rice fields on both sides of the road.
Tanah lot temple:
Tanah lot temple is on the top of the list for every travelers visiting Bali but only a few of them get to experience this magical sunset here. If you don't want to miss this amazing sunset view than visit this wonderful place in evening. The best view point is one, that's facing the cliff with the small temple on it with sun setting right through the gap in the cliff. Or if you want to experience better and unique view, keep an open eye for some closed staircase leading down the beach, and head towards the beach to enjoy the sunset from different point of view compared to the crowd. About 1 hour and 10 minutes ride will bring you here from Ubud or even lesser from Canggu area.
Seminyak Beach:
Seminyak beach is the most famous in Bali, with sunset view just breathtaking and definitely worth experiencing. Enjoying dinner and beer at any of the amazing restaurants lined on this beach will be a memorable for a lifetime. Most of these restaurants have quite amazing and also very affordable menus. Getting here is very easy if one is around the Seminyak or Canggu area, but if you are in Ubud, it will take around 45-50 minutes ride to reach here. Just park your scooter anywhere and start taking a walk on the beach until you find a nice spot or restaurant to sit down to enjoy the amazing sunset.
Uluwatu Temple:
Uluwatu Temple is in the southern most part of Bali and one of the holiest and important temples in Bali, giving jaw dropping landscape view from a 230 ft high cliff. This view is stunning around the day but better during the sunset with the sun, that massive ball of fire, sunk in the ocean and the sky illuminated minutes later with colors one have never seen ever in their life. while visiting this temple always be wary of the monkeys. Thousands of monkeys exist in Bali but they are quite unique, as they only get after any loose item hanging from your bags or your hands, so always tuck them into the bag and close and you are safe.
Pasut Beach:
Pasut Beach is also known as the black sand beach. Another great beach and wonderful sunset point in Bali. This area is somewhat busier than Pigstone beach due to the unique black sand stretch across it. This west cast of Bali holds some cool palm trees. Locals and tourists will always be riding motorcycles across the black sand beaches. This one is exceptionally easy to find as most is already advertised and you can get here from anywhere in Bali. It would be about minutes of scooter driving from Ubud and this place is almost always a good option if you have a little leisurely extra time in Bali.
