Andaman and Nicobar Islands is one of the most popular destinations in India for an exotic vacation. It is a union territory of India and consisting of 572 islands located in the Bay of Bengal India. The territory’s capital city is Port Blair. The islands are known for their pristine beaches, coral reefs, marine life, and adventure sports. Port Blair- Capital city of Andaman & Nicobar Islands known for museums and the Cellular Jail memorial. Cellular Jail, also known as Kala Pani, was a British colonial prison in The Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The prison was used by the colonial government of India for the purpose of exiling criminals and political prisoners. Many notable independence activists, including Diwan Singh Kalepani, Yogendra Shukla, Batukeshwar Dutt, Shadan Chandra Chatterjee, Sohan Singh, Vinayak Savarkar and many more. Today, the complex serves as a national memorial monument.

Also Ross Island is one of the most visited places in Port Blair. This island is now managed by the Indian Navy. The place has deer, peacocks, and eagles.

Baratang Island- is an island of the Andaman Islands. Major attractions on the island include the limestone caves, the Mud Volcano, Parrot Island, and Baludera Beach.
